Abricon was commissioned to undertake an Extended Phase 1 Habitat Survey on a farmyard, complete with a number of agricultural buildings, near the village of Westerleigh, South Gloucestershire. The outbuildings were considered to have negligible potential for roosting bats the overgrown yard was considered to be suitable for reptiles. Due to the nature of the works to be carried out and the size and connectivity of the site, no further surveys were considered necessary. A Method Statement was included in the report to address residual risk to reptiles during the site clearance.
